Pay day always brings on good feelings, at least for a little while for me. When you're overemployed and receiving income from multiple sources, do they all hit the bank on the same day, or are your pay days staggered?

My pay days staggered. One job pays out on the10th and 26th each month. One pays out every Tuesday, another either pays Friday or Saturday. Then I have two small side gigs, that pay out at the beginning of month but not on any set day.

Hi All. I moved to a new company , I just got my take home salary and my current pay is less that previous pay ,because of different state and other taxes. My new company is better but the pay is demotivating me . It is almost $500 less per biweekly pay check . What to do get out of the demotivation? I wouldn't have minded the same pay , but $1000 less /month is a lot !

What should I do if it’s been two weeks since I’ve heard from a recruiter after doing interviews at EY I’ve already emailed twice due to a couple competing offers having upcoming deadlines and still have not gotten a reply from the recruiter. Should I just assume that I didn’t get the job?

There is this big bank where I'd love to work at, and after several interviews for various positions they end up promoting someone from within, even thou I understand it and think it’s good they promote their people, it left me feeling like I'm just being used to comply with the process.

Anyone have multiple FT jobs? I'm looking about to land a new primary FT job, as my current job is very very slow, doesn't really have any projects for me, and could end at any time (with a 30 day notice).
Where there any legal issues? (The two companies area in different industries so no competition). How did you manage both? The new company knows I'm still employed, should I quit the first or keep it as long as I can manage both? Any bad vibes or feelings of unprofessionalism? TIA

How difficult is it to juggle a remote role with a hybrid role?

My current role is hybrid with at least two days a week in office. However, with the potential economic downturn, I'm considering holding on to the role to supplement my income.

I'm new to the overemployed movement, so I'm evaluating the feasibility of holding onto the hybrid role and the remote position.

I really want to get a second job but I am scared of losing my current one. Both companies are in same field, although not direct competitors so I know it’s technically “not allowed” however, this is the only way for me to get that $$ since I am not paid all that well.

Of course I won’t tell a single friend/coworker. Only my partner. And I don’t post work stuff on social media.
