I dated my ex for about 4 years and before we broke up we had moved in together. We lived together for about 6 months before breaking up. I kept the apartment and she moved out. Is this something I should tell my current girlfriend without it coming up naturally? Four years out of rehab today. Mostly sober since I “graduated”. Sometimes I want to act out and be caught, so I can be punished…because I don’t believe I was punished enough or suffered enough (divorce, losing a house, suicidal thoughts aren’t punishment enough apparently). In a meeting tonight a couple shares brought me right back to when I hit rock bottom, to the pain that I inflicted on others and myself. Part-time grad school and agency life... doable or crazy? I average 50 hour weeks but would have a convo with my manager about being unavailable a few evenings a week and on weekends. Choosing between two offers right now and not sure what to do. Both places have solid reputations, option A’s maybe slightly better. I like the location of option A more and think it would open up more doors long term. Option B is also a good opportunity and maybe would be more satisfying short term. Option B offered more $ but hoping to leverage that to see if option A can match. Are there any other big things to think about that I’m missing?
