Pet Recovery expectations? My 12year old lab, whose very energetic and mobile, is having surgery on Wednesday. He’s recently been diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma on a front leg and we are electing to remove mass. We have consulted with the boarded surgeon in our state and feel confident about the surgery. How should I prep for recovery? Dog beds all over the house? Baby gates? I have purchased stairs for our bed and a ramp for my SUV. He’s 90lbs and I can’t lift him up onto things.
