Really? No promotion raise? So if I got a 3 and a promotion, I would only end up with a few K more (assuming 130ish base?) as an SM1
EY3, excluding 2009 during the financial crisis (which was 0% for obvious reasons), the lowest raise I have received in 10 years has been between 10%-11%. By almost any metric, those are pretty good raises (or at the very least on par with competitors). People receiving 3% are likely lower performers and/or individuals who are bumping up against the top of their pay band.
What do u make now?

How about post your base... we have banded pay
Promotion bonus is 8K. EY doesn't give promotion raises. Your raise will just be your typical raise, unless you are quite a bit below the pay band.
Essentially. EY doesn't really factor in promotions when determining your annual comp, unless like I said you are significantly below the band. The reason for this is that raises, despite opinions on here, typically are pretty good within the firm annually (at least within FSO), and there isn't a "need" to give a huge raise at promotion. I got a smaller raise my promotion year than my M2toM3 year despite having the same rating both years.
SM1, how much is ur base and level?
SM1, I've seen people at EY get both good and bad raises (3%-19%) I don't think the raises are pretty good overall.
