What are some roles you have seen sales people successfully transition to (from tech/SaaS)?

What do you think about switching tech stacks vs becoming an expert in one stack? I am a backend Java engineer, and have solely used Java since I've started my software engineering career about 2 years ago. I don't know whether I should explore other tech stacks while I'm young, or instead focus on becoming a Java expert, given that I enjoy working in Java.

Could someone help me break down the differences between a Data Analyst vs Data Scientist vs Product Manager? And add any pros/cons from personal experience? In my mind they’re all related, but I don’t have experience working with any of these roles.

Should I update my LinkedIn to say Salesforce Admin? I’ve been certified since October, so I have the role in my headline, but I’m thinking it’s time to update it in my work experience. I have been transitioned to work on only Salesforce related items with the company’s Salesforce Admin. When I asked my boss about a title change, however, they said that it’s doable but want to wait until performance reviews so they can couple it with a pay increase. As nice as this sounds I feel like It’s BS.

How to get released from the tcs project?
in the past i have seen My project manager has not given them a release, in the end they have to resign.
I am in a product support project, i want to switch to another domain.

Genuine question - why do people slide into DMs on here? Why would you spend time trying to get to know someone when there’s like a 1% chance you’re in the same geographical area and would have mutual interest in each other? I have a question, I got a contract role through a recruiter. Initially the recruiter offered the hourly pay rate which was the minimum in my range. Now I got an offer from the company. Now without me asking her she increased the hourly wage to the maximum range I asked. Which makes me doubt if the company increased it or she knew the rate all along but gave me the lower rate ?

Career advice?

I'm a relatively junior data engineer (2yoe), the only other engineer (senior) that trained me left about a 6 months ago and I negotiated a nice raise for the extra responsibilities.

My performance reviews have been stellar, but my manager is starting to look to hire a senior to help me deliver projects as we do lack capacity right now.

I feel like I might be missing an opportunity to ask for a promotion and hire a junior instead.

Any opinions/tips?
