Prepping for my ACN phone interview in the AM. What dafuq does "improvement of analyst effectiveness by optimizing signature quality in collaboration with other analysts and developer" mean? 🤔😂

God dammit I hate this job sometimes lol

Haha it's because an HR rep that isn't sure what you actually do most likely wrote it.

Interesante. Yeah when I read it it may as well have said "Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?" Like awestrikingly incomprehensible haha

like

If your signature on documents is barely legible, then you would need to institute a Quality Improvement Plan. You'll be expected to describe how you would work with other analysts and developers to iterate improvements to your signature. A detailed budget and project plan will also be required. Remember, the quality of your signature reflects on the entire firm!

I want to get out of ID so badly. I don’t mind the work but the hours are just killing me. I just started at a new firm less than 6 months ago and I am already desperate to get out. It is not the firm or the people. I just hate the high billables. I have been applying to other jobs but I think I may need a recruiter for help. Any recommendation for a great recruiter in NYC?

Is nagarro round 2 managerial or technical?

Beginning to consider going in house (4th, corp) - I really haven’t thought about what I want, partly because I’m not sure what’s out there/attainable. Is it a bad idea to start by applying to a couple positions that interest me and seeing where that gets me? I’ll of course prep for the interviews but am afraid to burn potential bridges if I ultimately decline because I’m still figuring things out.

Friends, need some feedback on an idea:

I’m thinking of starting a podcast interviewing leaders at startups about their experience with specific challenges - I know, cliche, get a more original hobby, etc.

Not looking for the narrative arc of How I Built This or Masters of Scale. Instead, looking to uncover specific problems faced by companies that tried something new for the first time. What did they not see coming, how did they adapt and measure, etc.

What are your thoughts on this format?

M/SM and above, why do you label a meeting as “touch point” or ask if you can have a “quick chat” when it’s something serious? Millennials like us always assume we’re about to get fired - I actually have been laid off in a meeting with that title. But at my new job, my boss asked for a “quick chat” to literally ask me to change the title of a meeting and then chat about christmas. Now that I’m in management, I want to understand it better.
