My LM is so keen on small small things, not related to coding but documentation and all. Atleast once in a week I'm committing mistakes on small documentation points n he is stressing on same. Are there any chances that my probation will not be extended or is it a clue for me from my LM. He is Looping his LM and asking questions/clarifications.
Should I ask him directly or can be ignored or need to try outside. Please suggest Barclays

Agree with AD1. Take a second to really evaluate what could be in your head/what pressure you’re placing on yourself to be perfect vs what can be noticed by others.
Also not sure what level you are but if you’re on the more junior end of the spectrum, people doing the hiring (at least good ones) are able to see past nerves and get to the substance of what you have to offer.
But if you think you realllllly tanked it to the point where you won’t get the gig anyways, then there’s really nothing to lose in acknowledging. That being said I wouldn’t make it the FOCUS of your email. Just a light acknowledgment before getting into how excited you are, potentially light reinforcement of why you’d be a good fit etc.
I’d do it by EOD
Why not? Normalize being human! I’d try to be a little funny about it or something.
THIS! It’s totally OK to admit your enthusiasm may have come across with some nervous energy...
I hope your contact can show some empathy on it... if they don’t - you may be better off! ;)
Chief
honestly - I wouldn’t. everyone is nervous. You filter that out and judge the substance over the sizzle.
I’ve never thought to do this but it could be worth doing. If you think it was really that clear to the interviewer that you tanked it than it could signal you’re self aware and actively working to better yourself.
But if this is something just in your head this could be signaling something that they hadn’t even thought of.
If you REALLY feel like you bombed, I think your plan would be a good idea.
It was an hour long and I was told by the recruiter I was going to be asked about "my passions" but they didn't ask about that. They just asked like 5 behavioral questions and we were done in 30 minutes. 2 of the 3 people were responding to me with "...okay!"
I used the rest of the time to ask questions and they seemed put-off by the amount of questions I was asking and they seemed eager to leave even though it was supposed to be an hour long.
So I'm assuming I bombed it? Not sure anymore lol
If you think it was that obvious and it hurt you I'd go for it. At the very least it helps you stand out and conveys your level of interest.
If it could've just been in your head though I wouldn't draw attention to it.
I doubt it. I have an occasional stutter, and honestly, I notice it more than anyone else does. It’s okay to be a bit nervous.
