Probably should have added that it's for AWM tax managers and above only, aka the saddest people in the firm with the least interesting exit ops (well, maybe internal/IT audit is worse).
In DAT.. disagree with that “IT audit exit ops” comment.. gotten offers as internal audit, compliance, software code review, cyber security, banks, like every acct firm, etc.. stupid thing to say

Managers and above (not parents) are way behind. When first years salaries get upped they have to adjust other associates and seniors. Managers don’t get adjusted.
This will trickle into other areas. Mid year raises were not a thing in the past no matter what. Doing it randomly when there is apparently struggles in consulting is a big sign for how much demand there is for tax.
No, prob just tax. Govts are poor and they will all make changes due to interest rates surging. Tax has been and will continue to be high demand.
Hahaha….not an issue over here…attrition is at record lows because of comp actions over the past 3 years.

AWM audit was horrible. Was working past 2am even during the summer at PwC. I left after 1 year.

pwc is on a cohort system so depending on which manager level they bring u in. for context, i have 7 years of tax experience, all with pwc. with bonuses my total comp is over 200k. MCOL.
I’m servicing PE clients in a mid market firm, how’s the PE group at PWC? What salary should one expect as a manager with 2 years experience in HCOL area?
