Probably should have added that it's for AWM tax managers and above only, aka the saddest people in the firm with the least interesting exit ops (well, maybe internal/IT audit is worse).

likefunny

In DAT.. disagree with that “IT audit exit ops” comment.. gotten offers as internal audit, compliance, software code review, cyber security, banks, like every acct firm, etc.. stupid thing to say

oh i should add....for mgrs and above only

likefunnysmart

Managers and above (not parents) are way behind. When first years salaries get upped they have to adjust other associates and seniors. Managers don’t get adjusted.

like

This will trickle into other areas. Mid year raises were not a thing in the past no matter what. Doing it randomly when there is apparently struggles in consulting is a big sign for how much demand there is for tax.

likesmart

No, prob just tax. Govts are poor and they will all make changes due to interest rates surging. Tax has been and will continue to be high demand.

Hahaha….not an issue over here…attrition is at record lows because of comp actions over the past 3 years.

like

That isn’t correct

jan. paycheck is when raise is effective

10% across the board? Damn that's nice!

I need more than 10% raise for the rising gas prices in CA.

Yeah ok. Maybe if you drive 100k miles/year. Lol

What’s AWM?

funnylike

AWM audit was horrible. Was working past 2am even during the summer at PwC. I left after 1 year.

It’s not even mid year yet for pwc -.-

It’s coming up

Is this US? Didn’t hear that for PwC UK…

like

It's real, but it's only for AWM tax managers and above.

I’m in awm tax hopefully the rising tide lifts all ships here

like

How the hell does that fit the cohort model they keep touting? Making a new cohort for AWM?

like

Oh gosh that’s awesome. We are also bringing in revenue and ITax is going to get super busy with globe rules. I hope they will do something for us as well.

Tax people?

Is this real or fake news? Did not see going concer news though

because ur paid enough in consulting while not brining in any revenue right now. haha

Interesting. EY should take note

Audit is not getting raises?!

So if I want to go back to public, what should my comp be? 13 yes exp, last 3 in industry.

pwc is on a cohort system so depending on which manager level they bring u in. for context, i have 7 years of tax experience, all with pwc. with bonuses my total comp is over 200k. MCOL.

like

I’m servicing PE clients in a mid market firm, how’s the PE group at PWC? What salary should one expect as a manager with 2 years experience in HCOL area?

Lucky guys

Fake news; I’m at PwC in tax

But are you in AWM? Last year’s giant AWM-only bonuses were kept quiet and hidden from others in tax.

Great India clearly supported Russia by abstaining on UNSC bill that condemns Russia.
Now India should not expect any support from the UN or the Quad if it is cornered by China eventually.
Also it my make the west ponder over any more FDI in India and they might also cut the existing trade ties and MOUs inevitably affecting the jobs.
Well done Government 👏
