Are you aware of how long women are generally pregnant for SC1?
Nope. Pregnancy would be a pre existing condition so she'll have to just ride it out old school.
Hi, this must be a joke? Of course she would be eligible for maternity leave?
I think the question is paid maternity leave. Unpaid leave is always available.
The levels of the benefits available should be on KCurve (internal) somewhere or have her ask HR on joining. Tenure does improve what you get but of course there is maternity leave - it's not as though anyone gets to dictate the birth date of the baby.
Nope... gotta be there three months.
You mean she can take it after three months of joining the firm, correct?
I understand the rationale but am now curious about the details. Do they require that you not get pregnant until after 3 months? How would they verify? Or is it you are not leave eligible for a year (3 months + 9 months)? If so what if you have a premature baby?
Yes, of course she will. She'll file for short term disability.
Correct EY OP 😂 Sorry for the confusion
