Hi fishes, I declined the offer from Pwc AC bangalore on July 28th by sending an email to HR, communicated the same to us_pwc_ac_bangalore_recruitment_services@pwc.com. But I keep getting these emails to complete pre-hiring formalities and daily reminders for the same. How can I make them update the status in system? Also are there repercussions of rejecting an offer. I rejected 3 days after acceptance. PwC Pwc AC

McKinsey & Company I am joining the McKinsey & Company Boston office in late July and searching for housing in the meantime. If I could get some insight on the ratio of days in the office vs work from home that would be super helpful!
If I need to come into the office regularly I will try to find a place close by.

I spend half a year there for a project. Life is indeed easy, especially as a white male (female, Indian, Chinese might be a bit more complicated as the region is racist af).
The „no soul“ thing mentioned was significant for me. Coming from Europe, Dubai felt like a place without culture except binge drinking for Brunch. Half a year was more than enough for me.
Way more Indians than Chinese in the Middle East
No personal tax, so you take home lots of money vs other locations (not adjusted for CoL).
Life in Dubai is super easy. The city is safe, functions perfectly and there’s plenty of expats. It will grow on you. You might perceive it as a city with no soul, it has happened to me lots.. I’ve always found myself longing for Europe and our “walkable” cities, but besides that you’ll find anything you need in Dubai. Keep in mind it’s a super expensive city, so make sure you plan your finances and negotiate your offer accordingly unless you want to end up living in the boonies :)
I do, yeah :) I’m half italian actually
