Q on Chase sapphire reserve vs Capitalone venture x card! I used to have a hyatt chase card that I let close due to slacking & offshore vacation etc. I know it’s bad but it did happen a couple of years ago. The moment they closed, I paid my balance in full. Now my credit score is over 720. Should I wait for score to reach 750+ before applying for a premium travel credit card? Chase may not approve due to history. Which of these cards will approve a new card for my scenario! Thanks in advance!

I just left a Big 4 firm to Fund Accounting in hopes of better WLB, but now it’s looking like the hours will probably be even worse (60/70+ average weekly) throughout the year. Is there any advice for networking into projects when you don’t know many people at the firm yet? I always to help on BD work when I’m on the bench, but it never turns into any billable work. Every time I have talked to a partner/senior manager I was told I don’t have the skill set they’re looking for, but I don’t know how to build up from there. Feeing very lost but I want to improve my approach.

What would u do? 3 YOE HCOL city and I have 2 potential options:
1) move to a boutique healthcare strategy consulting firm in a similar role as I have now (client facing consulting role).. 120-130 base + 20% bonus
2) a product specialist role at Meta (FB). This told role product management, it’s analytics heavy. $107k base, 10% bonus, $30K stock.

At the end of the day, TC for both is similar. As far as exit opportunities I’m not sure what is better, so looking to get other people’s opinions.
