As I work to get out of debt, should I put money into a few sinking funds to avoid using the cards in the future - and then putting all excess money towards my cards once the sinking funds are established? Can someone recommend a good Mega back door 401k strategy for plan that permits only 2 after tax to Roth conversion a year? My new employer provides after tax 401k, but they will only allow the conversion to happen twice a year? Do you keep contributing monthly and do the conversion every 6 months? Pay tax on earnings?
