Did 4 rounds of interviews. Last 2 with 2 partners at EY. Havenât heard back even after 1 month. One partner even commented âyou will be a good addition to the teamâ. Hiring manager gave EY email after her interview call with me.
Fast forward two weeks, no communication. Recruiting was surprised that I was still chasing for this position, month later. Got to know last week that hiring team was continuing to interview candidates. Should I drop the idea to get hired? EY hasnât rejected me yet.
Hi Fishes,
Does Deloitte USI have any cool down period, if you apply and do not get any response from the company? I had previously applied in a role, but didn't hear back from them. So, I'm planning to try to apply via referral this time and I'm wondering if I should use the same e-mail ID or a different one! Deloitte USI

For experienced hires, itâs common that after your recruiter phone screen, either a M or SM does the tech phone screen (or equivalent for non-tech groups). If they say no, youâre done.
If you pass that, you have an in office interview day with 3 interviews. The normal lineup is 1 PPMD and two M/SM interviewers, with SM/SpL probably more common than M or at least one SM/SpL.
Each interview is a different format. At the end, the three people briefly discuss and vote yes or no, or yes but one level down, or in rare cases they set up another final interview, usually with the person running your niche, to make the final call.
The M/SM interviewers are usually asked to speak first so that the PPMDs opinion doesnât sway the others, so the SM does have a fair degree of influence to speak first and potentially set the direction that the others would need to argue against. I havenât seen a ton of cases where the PPMD overruled the other two opinions.
There would be a different setup and process for campus recruiting, but being at Booz I assume you mean exp hire.
This is correct i just went through that exact process, PPMD next. Thank you @SM1
It depends, GPS or commercial?
For GPS I interviewed with two managers, a SM, and a PPMD
@D1, this would be for commercial!
I believe commercial has a bit of a more involved process, where itâs SC, M, SM, then two PPMDS? But I believe it changes for level, and for function
