The danger isn’t getting canned. You can always apply for new jobs. The danger is getting to mid-level YOE without knowing how to do anything. If you’re still fairly junior, it might be better to make a career switch

Just an FYI by slacking off I mean more not hitting billables but still a competent attorney with work product in the 85-90% range

Similar question….if I’m meeting my billables each month with maybe a 5 hour cushion and creating good work product….should I have any concerns about job security in BigLaw?
