Need referral for Randstad . Anybody here?
My wife has her joining date extended from Randstad and no joining date has been provided. What are the chances of her offer getting revoked. She has around 1 year of experience in HR. She got to know about this just on the last day of her notice period. She doesnt have any other offer as she didnt expect the joining date to get extended. Randstad. If anyone is open for hiring, please let me know. I can share it with her. Morningstar Tata Consultancy Accenture JPMorgan Chase Wells Fargo Infosys

After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

I'm always a fan of taking a leap of faith and trying something new. I mean, you have experience now. You can always go back to doing what you're doing. But what if the new job is amazing? What if it's incredibly fulfilling and meaningful?

I keep coming back to that. But then the fear of losing my income and the means of providing for my family returns. Ugh.
The counter question is, is it a good idea for YOU to stay in finance? You have the itch to try something else, you should try it. You're only in your thirties. You'll either choose comfort and wonder what if I had taken the leap, or choose to face your fear and wonder what if I had stayed. I took the leap in my forties and that has made all the difference for me.

That's awesome it worked out for you. I think I need to work on my confidence and envision success, not epic failure
I made a successful career change at 49. Don't let age stop you. I do have to admit that I had a very meaningful career with low pay for years, and sadly, it just wasn't cutting it any longer (because with age, health care costs increase, things you probably aren't even thinking about yet) so I moved into a Finance career for the money. I don't enjoy the work at all, but I appreciate the money, great benefits and matching 401K. Sometimes you have to look at the big picture and what makes sense in the long run. But I'm also a big advocate of evolving within your career path to keep your mind and attitude fresh. Good luck with whatever you decide!

Thank you for the perspective and for keeping it real. I feel like everyone is always telling me to take the leap but I struggle to even know where to leap.
If you just finished your MBA you should have plenty of opportunities. Perhaps start in your present organization and talk to people there about what might be available. And do some networking and talk to people about other directions you could go in. I assume some areas of finance interest you, so do some exploring in those directions.

That's a good idea. Talking to my boss has been a dead end but I could go above them and talk to others.
I partner with investors to grow their portfolios through strategic leveraged trading, with no upfront costs I only earn a 25% performance-based commission on monthly profits. Currently, I’m focused on XAU/USD (Gold) with leveraged positions, a $500 funded account can often target $2500–$5000 in returns within a week, depending on market conditions.
