Really feel like I fucked up my career choice right now. Everyone said you could go anywhere from Big4 and it seems like that’s just not the case. Have my CPA license, went to a pretty good school, and it seems like the only jobs out there are more audit roles and internal accounting roles which seem pretty cut and dry. I need to get out of this job but I want it to be the right thing as well.

I’ve been looking into continuing my education. I’m a certified veterinary assistant (worst mistake ever), and I’m thinking about starting my prevet courses, and becoming a CVT on the way so I have a guaranteed job. Anyone know if this is possible?

If looking into making a move to corporate/start-ups, how would you suggest looking at what’s out there and deciding the areas you’re most interested in?

Has anyone ever left Chubb to go to Liberty or Travelers for commercial or middle market underwriting or even a sales rep role? If so, how do you like it? Came from The Hartford and love Chubb so far, but curious to see what else is out there.

any insight into how a pmm skillset is different from a brand strategist one? of course the pmm applies insights to and influences the product, but it seems like a lot of the core elements - research, understanding the user, generating insights, developing messaging and angles to speak to them, etc are super similar. interested in transitioning and I want to understand where my gaps are!

I've transferred my PF from Wipro to Cognizant where in it the Employee's PF shows around 83k but the Employer's PF shows only around 27k.

If the employee and employer have to contribute 12% then both should be equal to 83k isn't it?
