recently had the opportunity to join the Amazon Ads team through a referral from an old colleague. Pats the first round of interview but ultimately decided to end the process as I wasn’t interested in the role.

Then last week got a request to interview for a PMM job I had applied to a few months back. Started prepping only for the recruiter to call me saying that the interview had to be postponed due to needing to change the “job id”.

HR is scheduling the interviews without checking time with me. One interview was scheduled and then it was rescheduled to a different time at last minute. Finished my loop for a marketing role 2 weeks ago, and got an email the next day that they wanted to give me an offer. Had my initial call with recruiter to put the offer together. It was lower than I expected, and we ended that call positively as I needed some time to consider, and we agreed to follow up in a few days. Have an offer from AWS for an L7 Principal PMT role: $215k base + $275k sign on bonus for Year 1 and $215k for year 2 + 5100 RSUs (@ $130 / share). This is the initial offer; where is there room for negotiation? Base or Sign on Bonus or RSUs? I realize it's a good offer, but I'm looking for: $225k base + existing sign on + 5500 RSUs. Does that sound like a decent counter?
