Recently I joined one MNC and the project has been allocated. It's a big banking project. In that ours is a new project... everything building from the scratch. I am the only one from India the rest all from foreign (UK, china). I have a bit less tech knowledge in practical work. And am not getting proper KT from my team member (china girl). They are too busy in building project. I am very much afraid. I can't even understand what they are talking in stand up calls.

I’m not from an English speaking country but I am watching a tv show and businessmen walk into a room and instead of greeting eachother, everyone says each person’s first name in lieu of hi, however in my experience working in the states, I haven’t seen anyone do this, it’s always hi or good afternoon or some other greeting first THEN they say their first name. is it also appropriate to omit the greeting?

I work remote from the west coast and I love it. I rarely travel for work but next week I’ll be in our NY office. I’m actually excited to wear work clothes again for 1 week 😂

My previous manager would track us by hours daily, made a fuss everytime anything stretched and guilt us for that and the unplanned leave too unless it was COVID. Hinted him a lot of time, this is problematic but apparently he considered it "standard practice for agile".

Since that day, there is no communication from HR team of Wipro . I tired of sending multiple emails and when I tried to call he always declines my call.

Between director of respected technology is reaching me and he wants me to join ASAP and take over the project work.
