Hi fishes, what are the chances of Pwc AC bangalore rescinding an offer given the current market condition? The role in my offer letter seems to be pretty generic and during interviews, it didn't look like, they were interviewing for a particular project or team. I have doubts specifically because of HR's behaviour during the whole recruitment process where they never responded to my emails or calls. Is this normal practice?
I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

Leadership starts at solution principle (technical track...think TC at acn), principle consultant (more delivery / general skills....i would say the old SI / MC group). Above that level is program area lead (tech track) or client services lead (biz or delivery track) there are levels even higher than that.
The principle level has sales goals but it's not very high (about 1-2M) - that being said...if you dont hot that number its not that bad because bonuses are distributed on how the group does.
The first level where your career is negatively affected for not hitting sales are at the client service lead or project area lead positions.
Two key things to consider
1. Nobody comes here for the money - you will make more money at acn. Its about the life style change.
2. Most of our projects are small...so unless you can sell cloud work...you wont be able to sell these huge projects with lots of people. Also while our people are good tech wise....you wont find minions to pawn pff your ppta to. That means that you will have to do a lot of the leg work to make sales or create new offerings
Key take away...slalom is about the lifestyle. If you are unmarried -then this is a great place to relax and find your SO.
If you are married...this is a great place to remember what other feels like see your wife at 6pm and be able to go to a happy hour with her
Good luck tomorrow...let us know what level you are at. Also if you want to chat...im ex acn (along w half of our firm) so ill take time to answer any questions
Slalom has two career tracks beyond consultant. One track focuses on capability and offering development, the other on program delivery and client management. The offices use the same titles, but the responsibilities – and compensation – of the different roles can vary quite a bit.
* solution principal, * practice area lead. And semi true about SP/PC sales goals... it's all market dependent. In most markets the key difference between an SP and a PAL is revenue generated, not responsibility not competency not experience not etc.
You can definitely make more money at slalom than other places, but you have to sell sell sell.
Thanks everyone for all the feedback. This is very helpful. I'm not really looking to jump ship from ACN as I am in the MD pipe this year (probably a long shot, but there is a chance). I'm also local (kind of, hotel life but no planes). Nonetheless, I have not investigated the market in a few years and thought this was worth a conversation. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again.
I thought they didn't have levels
Well which level are they proposing
TBD... meeting with the recruiter on Friday.
You won't find an equivalent role. Talk to the recruiter and get the actual title from them. Leadership role essentially means it is not a "Consultant" level.
Which track pays better?
@p1, client=money brah
Depends on how successful you are - build a large, successful practice, or a large book of clients and you'll do well. There's also a pure sales/BD path.
Will comp be comparable? Currently at 185k, bonus around 15%, and 10% in equity....
Comp is dependent on role, market, managed revenue and your leveraged percent. You could go 60/40 comp to bonus and beat what you have now. Equity is invite only and buy in--about 30% growth annually. You likely won't travel if that matters
