Anyone have experience working CWX side of Facebook (Meta) ? These are the full time contract roles that potentially turn into permanent roles directly with Facebook (Meta). Had a recruiter reach out and offering me comparable TC and such, just curious if anyone has experience in these roles and success/failure of transitioning into permanent role. Thanks in advance!

He seems to be making something out of nothing. If he presses you on it, just say you needed the money for college.
I always try to have a reasoning for things on my resume.
Maybe think of a smoother answer that doesn’t go into detail about money.
They both offered me short term internships due to the pandemic and then got an offer for the other one. It worked out and I was able to learn a lot.
Also yes… giant crooked boner. Lol. This is why I come up with answers to things like this, for those people who we call in Spanish “jodidos.” Lol
I once had someone grill me about a pre-law school resume gap. I pointed out that the 2 years between undergrad and law school weren’t relevant to my experience, but that I’d been working in xyz for the 7 years following law school. He went back to the gap, pointing out most people go straight to law school. I could’ve responded that my different experience gave me a more diverse viewpoint than “most people” but dropped it and we moved on. He had already made up his mind on that weird sticking point, but I still got an offer. Point being, people cling to different things in interviews, don’t sweat it, just roll with it and move on to stuff you want to focus on.
why would u even list both of them?
Honestly from a recruiting perspective I can understand his hesitation. The context about needing money for college is important here, I would try to share that with him and explain that now you’re looking for the best overall career fit and don’t plan to hop around.
Screw that guy, makes no sense
Honestly its not a good look to leave an internship in the middle just because youngot a better offer. Be sure to explain that you needed the money (and why).
Hmm I think I would have been a little more open about why you jumped. Sometimes people just need some context you know?
Probably would not list both on the resume. Job hopping as a summer intern (which is realistically only 7-8 weeks long) is a bit of a red flag to anyone because it’s such a short period. Either you got fired (have to be some super big issue) or you didn’t even give the first company a chance if you left within a month when more than half is just training and onboarding.
