Reviews on MBB advanced analytics vs Big 4 analytics practices?
(Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing functions)

What are the exit opp. and workload (coding vs deck creation) for both? Considering deck creation will be obvious, don't want 90% time spent on deck and 10% on analysis/technical work.

Ideally looking for 40% deck creation + 60% technical..long term exit industry strategic planning.

Kearney Analytics is heavy supply chain but lots of technical work up until Manager role. Exits into FAANG corporate strategy and logistics leadership at major retail companies. Also, fantastic for procurement if that’s what you like, but I actively try to avoid that work

like

From what I've heard MBB except BCG Gamma are all still figuring out the hierarchy, progression, and integration of data science with consulting. Idk about big 4 but at Deloitte, they're treated as any other consultant and fall under the exact same structure.
Deck creation probably happens everywhere. At D, there are specific areas that are much more technical than others - where it's all SWE, ML research, and other stuff - and deck building is pretty minimal and technical work is at the high end. See the our stuff funded by "Catalyst" in particular. There are also client facing projects with this stuff. Obviously there are also projects on the less technical / more decking end.
Ultimately your team and network determine what you'll do. FAANG/other big tech/startup/M7/T15 exits are common.

Well said. Lemme add, PwC integrated really good business analytics to tax services. It includes a lot technical tasks and dashboard building.

Very technical here, still too early to say what typical exits are

like

BCG Gamma here, vast majority of time is on technical stuff.

So engineers can now automate the writing of basic code, and potentially more complex tasks, by using GPT-3.

For those who are technical: If machines can write code, how are you going to upskill? And what are the best ways make yourself indispensable?

I am not embracing the notion that you shouldn't have to code to do data science. However, I think coding may soon be much less of a competitive advantage.
