I received a Senior Game Developer position at Globant Game Studios and just wanted to know if anyone has any idea about this department. I received Bangalore as the base Location and they told me Pune is having all the team, in future will they ask me to join in Pune? Which I don't want to.

Actually many companies' transaction services started within the audit practice initially. Audit partners got into transaction services and continue to build up that group.
PwC transaction advisory group is called CMASS. For legal structure purposes they were in the same branch as audit until a few years ago. Although they were in the same branch they shared no responsibilities, personnel or projects. This is because many did not consider accounting advisory a consulting solution and wanted to keep it separate from the other management services groups. All of the controls still existed making sure there is a separation between audit clients and advisory clients.

Pretty sure the wiki now has some very different language
Someone must have read his Wikipedia page and gotten too annoyed by it.
No other reason to explain what happened 👀
In the 90s they didn’t have separate advisory transaction groups. The PE machine had not exploded yet so it was mostly strategic M&A. Audit and tax partners would help their respective clients with M&A advice. It wasn’t until the early 2000s that most firms started their own transaction advisory groups.
