My company usually promotes between 2 - 2.5 yrs, i just hit my 2yr mark and in my mid yr review I felt was good and overall seems like they’re happy with me, staffing me alone with MDs and leading some projects with the new hires. But he did not mention a promotion. Whilst, what my peers are mentioning is that in their review it was pretty obvious a promotion was coming soon. I want to talk abt this with my boss but dk how. Should I start looking elsewhere?

My TC has fluctuated (currently around 135K CAD), but it seems like it's relatively easy to breach the 100K bar, but hard to breach the 150K bar. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? How many billable hours per week is considered at capacity? I’m getting pushback on boundaries I’m setting about additional matters and marketing work from my firm when I’ve been billing 60-75 hours per week for the last 6 weeks, and I’m still behind on my work. I feel like it’s reasonable to not kill myself further to fit in more/turn things around faster at this point, but am I being unreasonable? I expect my workload to remain at this level through the end of the year at least.
