Seeking career advice… the majority of my subordinates are associated with a different job structure than me (they are classified as hospital-based, whereas I am classified as clinic). As a result, the majority of my subordinates are paid $25k-$50k more than me. I’ve brought it up to my leader before and I’m told “well naturally nurses get paid more” and “you’ll get there don’t worry”. But I am constantly feeling undervalued. What should I do?

I’m currently in a lease admin type role, in commercial real estate. I make a base salary of $50.5K with about $9k in bonuses. I’ve continuously received 7-10% raises over the last 3 years. I anticipate getting a promotion this year and would like to get closer to $60k for my base salary. I’m the only person in my role at the company and have been a key person in developing our team as we look to expand. Is this unreasonable? Is there a normal increase given with promotions? Working in a large health system as a quality professional WFH. I rarely see anyone else on my team, and when I do present findings I see no changes happening.
