Have you ever “nested” 5 emails?
Create email template for your manager to send to the client, who has a nested email to send to the client’s boss, who would send the email to their boss, and so forth.
Every email says the same thing like “I’ve attached a copy of your response to send to ____”. And they would have an email attachment attached to the email attachment.
Hard to explain but that’s what I did for a year -_-
I’d do that over nesting emails any day. We’ve all be through it. Part of the grind

Is it silly? Kind of. Is it normal? Yes.
This is not normal.... 😐
I think it’s a combination of 2 things , a. Your boss considers themselves too imp b. They don’t find your time imp at all
Honestly delay your responses, do it a few times and they’ll get the signal. If you’re in a meeting don’t drop out tell them you’re on a client call
I’ve tried doing this, she doesn’t get the hint. She’ll email at 10 at night for calendars and I’ll answer 12 hours later and she’ll email me back EOD asking for a WebEx for X time slot
Small time save: you can designate additional cohosts (like your manager) or enable permissions to allow anyone with a host account to start the meeting (even clients). This means you won’t have to start / leave the meeting
Unfortunately the client only allows their emails to be cohosts and she doesn’t want to have to open her client laptop so I have to open the meeting so she can join with our client email

Do you use WebEx for your own company's meetings?
If not, it's generally preferable to use the clients' meeting tool so it's easier for the client. It's a little bit of a run around, yes.
You can also set meetings so that the host doesn't have to join.
Are you saying the manager also has a client laptop with access to this info or just you and she asks you to pull the info for her to schedule?
