Best books about product management for a good exit to industry? I already have an MBA and PMP but looking for a refreshed perspective since it’s been years since my formal education. Currently reading “Product Managements Sacred Seven” but it’s geared toward the startup world. I am in healthcare and not looking for a startup role. TIA!!!
Highlights of my day were making my husband's lunch and telling both of my staff to skip work (one for CPA exam, one for illness). #winning
Hi, I have more than 5+ years of experience in Performance Testing and engineering. I do not want to continue in tech. Want to switch to management. So planning to do a PMP course. Really confused about the consequences after the course, whether I'll be able to successfully get a management role or not. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions for me? Any guidance is appreciated.

Any fellow Hispanics/Latinos willing to discuss MBA application experience? Do you think you got a leg up/lower bar just for being H/L? Wondering whether I should consider this as a factor when picking target schools
Help me fill in the blanks: M7 MBA = MBB + Big 4 HBS = McKinsey Wharton = Bain Stanford = ??? Kellogg = Deloitte Sloan = ??? Columbia = ??? Booth = ???
Hi prospective MBA applicants! I’m looking to expand my admissions consulting business, something I’ve been doing informally for a while. If you haven’t been impressed with the guidance you’ve received from admissions consultants and/or other companies then please hit me up. More than happy to help with overall application strategy, profile development, school selection, resume, essays, interviews, etc. Feel free to DM if you’d like to chat further!
Thoughts on Prosci or SHRM-SCP certification? Which would be considered more valuable or highly regarded? Currently focused on Change Management but have a HR background (industry experience / area of study in college).

Finishing up Leadership Dev Program-IT (rotational program: roles included Analyst, SM, PO, Dev, Engineer) with GEICO and looking to post out into the Cyber Security (in DMV area). Did have exposure to Cyber at GEICO for 2 of my rotations, had an opportunity to get Sec+, Net+, CISM (exam cleared only). What firms I should be looking into which values LDP and future growth in the Cyber Arena.

Curious, how many of you have a work teammate or family member sick with COVID-19? (I have none so far, knock wood, but an acquaintance or two.)
I see a lot of LinkedIn posts about how we are all shopping offers and how this should be stopped. What do you all say? I feel like in case they feel it's a "crime", HRs should not proceed if we say I have a standing offer in the beginning itself. Only firms can poach people who join for lesser salary (even though market standards say otherwise) but we can't seek for better offers?
The narrative has changed: from being panned for his response to coronavirus, to becoming the "American hero who beat the virus", and "will MAGA", since he dealt with it "personally". "I got Covid" was a hoax that democrats will regret believing in when the traitor wins the 2nd term: Trump's campaign claims his bout with COVID will help him beat Biden
In your opinion; what’s a reasonable salary for an entry level tax accountant position? I was asked if I had a number in mind but I said I was flexible as I don’t have tax experience and they still would like me to interview.
So is pre-promotion a busy time to jump firms? In case people don’t get promoted, leave immediately?

My little girl now has an option of returning to school in-person through her spring break. My spouse is a high risk + extra careful when it comes to all things pandemic. I'm worried about my little kid's lost year & want her to go to school & interact with her friends, learn, etc. She's been home since March. Schools are being extra careful, maintaining all precautions, etc. But I can't convince my spouse to agree to this. Anyone else in a similar situation?
