Slalom folks - how does the client service lead role map to other levels at big 4, Accenture and the like.? Is it a manager or SM level role?

Senior manager. Although the Slalom levels are often more like functions than levels. That is, a consultant is someone who consults more so than a level above analyst, if that makes any sense. There are former Accenture sr managers who are consultants and others who are client service leads or partners

In my opinion, we have folks as CSLs who are more like a Big 4 senior manager (rather than manager). Obviously varies person to person, but generally a role filled by high performing and very accomplished folks.

We also have CSLs that are glorified PMs.. they’re being transitioned out though.

I went to a T14 law school, got great grades and glowing recommendations, and wrote (what I thought was) a great writing sample. But I got rejected from all 70 federal clerkships I applied to. The only thing I can think of is: I took a non traditional route after law school and did a 2 year public interest fellowship in a niche field of administrative law. The rejection gave me a lot of self hatred. I still really want to clerk. Any advice? What is wrong with me? I feel like a failure.

What are some good practices during the sales phase of a potential project to execute before the contract is signed? Seems obvious but would love some ideas on standard operating procedures that help with seamlessly handing over a signed contract to the account team. For example, speaking to the potential client explicitly about their role in staying on schedule, reviewing scope creep consequences, etc.

One thing we haven’t spoken about are your salary expectations. Could you have a think and let me know early next week as well as your employment status (residency permit)."
