Our CEO has weekly meetings. Furloughs and comp reductions discussed. I think the length of this will determine if layoffs occur, but our firm is committed to saving jobs. Partners have taken reduced pay and others of us have volunteered to take cuts or be furloughed to save jobs.
Hopefully the cuts will be enough! On a positive though, seems like your CEO is trying to be transparent. I really hope that when a decision is made for our firm that they do the same
There are no comp reductions at EY or KPMG. The announcements were related to year-end bonuses. BDO is the only large PA firm I know of that has instituted actual comp reductions so far.
Yeah, that sounds similar to ours. But there are definitely some outliers popping up in the 3-5k Range (not this year of course...)
CLA took 10% off of almost every employees salary last week for the rest of 2020
😢
BKD has hinted at, but not clear what they are going to do. Should know by end of month
Next year will be a tell all also after clients end up impacted over the longer term
Very true

Crowe has yet to make an announcement
Pay cuts or layoffs?
CRI just made 10-30% cuts
Thanks.
A few layoffs happened today actually, although information is still scarce and leadership hasn’t said ANYTHING. Checkout the recent posts in the Crowe bowl
Do you know if the firm is hiring? Looking to make a switch
None that I've heard of at GT yet, but I'm guessing we'll see cuts in one form or another in the upcoming weeks.
Update: in an ironic twist, I was one of the ones laid off at Crowe... 😢
Sorry to hear the news.
