So I currently work in the fraud department of NFCU as an MSR3 (ASAC) the promotion was fine at first, but it caused alot stress that triggered depression and anxiety and fir the last 6 months I have been on and off short term disability. Why does NFCU not want to honor my request for a demotion due to mental health???

So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I had considered it in passing before but today was about the third or fourth time that someone had earnestly nudged me in that direction. Has anyone here made such a career pivot before? Advice needed on handing in notice, I recently signed an offer letter and understand the screening process takes 4-6 weeks. I have a month's notice period and have agreed a preliminary start date in Feb.
