The system is broken. I firmly believe if someone comes from another country and obtains an undergrade and secures a position, give them a visa: worked 10x harder than most of our population. With that being said I'm really sorry, you were clearly an asset for us and it's our loss
But I guess that's what life is. Not venting or seeking sympathy, just sharing experiences.
I seriously don't understand our immigration policy. You come here legally, pay tuition, pay taxes, and are generally contributing to society, but they kick you out. Yet, you can come here illegally, and have a better chance of being able to stay indefinitely.
Dude I'm so sorry. I'm being sincere here. ☹️
Congrats on the many great accomplishments. As other have said our loss. But, what a gain for your country. I would love to read your biography when it's all said and done because it is clear you are going to have one hell of a life and make many great changes in your own country. Best of luck to you!
Would you be interested in going to Canada or Australia?
I am very sorry.
I second BDO.
👍🏼Good luck and congrats on many achievements.
I am glad you would accomplish great things for ur country and did not run behind usa visa chase. Find ur happiness at home😍
I'm so sorry to hear that. The same thing is happening to me. I've been in America for 5 years (also graduated with magna cum laude) but didn't get the visa either. So I know how you feel right now
Congrats on all your achievements. Being an international here I understand how hard you fought. I am sure the door will always be open for you if you ever want to come back. But honestly there are abundant opportunities outside of US. I am sure you will live a successful life wherever you go.
:(
Wow! Sorry to hear that

A1 you have serious comprehensive reading issues
Same happened to me a few years ago. Went back to my home country, worked there for one year at EY, got L1 visa (not a lottery like H1B), and came back. If you talk to the right people, it can work out for you as well. Good luck
Where is home?
I obviously don't know the system well enough only from what coworkers have shared, but aren't there other avenues?
May be there is something best awaiting for you in your home country, be positive, good luck!!
That really sucks. I'm sorry! Our loss :(
