Has anyone used an Airbnb experience photographer while on a vacation. I know the experience will vary greatly, but generally speaking, how does it work? Is it like when you go to some of these studios and they hold your pictures hostage till you fork over a bunch of $$? The ones I’ve viewed said they give you X amount of digital pics within 2 days. Are you expected to tip the photographer and if so, how much?

I’m sure this has been considered, but was thinking about how if PA firms offered sabbaticals after X years of tenure, how it would probably help with retention (for example, maybe one month off between staff and senior, six weeks between senior and manager, etc.) - was talking to friends in other jobs about how great their 1-2 months off when they switch jobs is and I feel like if that was built into the PA model people would have a chance to recuperate / lessen burnout / etc

I've gotten the Deloitte D launch orientation survey. Me start date is on the 16th (less than 2 weeks). I've emailed BI onboarding twice, called my recruiter asking if they are ok with background/employment verification check and I've not gotten a response. Deloitte onboarding E-mail says , it background verification is not complete by target start date , they can postpone the date last minute.
I have 14th march as a start date and I don’t know my background verification status.
I emailed BIONBoarding but no response.
How am I supposed to give notice to my current employer without knowing BGC status ?
Please advise if someone faced this situation.

Has anyone else in PDM received one of these “you’re selected to be an Onboarding Advisor” emails? 2 of my coworkers got one and they seem to be expected to advise new hires on how to do resumes, skills, staffit, DTE, introduce them to their network, send welcome emails, checkin with them multiple times and answer their onboarding questions. Seems like a lot of extra firm work when PDM is not supposed to be required to do firm work…. Wondering if anyone knows about this new requirement.

Trying to transfer to Traditional model in September and recently got a trading violation. Would my transfer get denied?

I'm in my 2nd week with Deloitte and things just seem a bit off. I've left my resource manager 2 emails , no response from him. Not been assigned a coach or an onboarding advisor yet .Is this normal ? Who helps me get assigned to a project ? When does the process start ? I can't be just sitting and doing nothing. What am I supposed to charge hours to this week ? I've gotten no guidance on that.
