SOS! In-house interview w/ large Corp. 1st interview (after initial recruiter screening) was with one In-House Attorney 2 weeks ago. Early last week, recruiter scheduled 2nd interview with VP-level attorney for that following Fri. On Fri, entered Zoom meeting, but no one showed. I emailed recruiter 5 mins into scheduled time to make sure I had the correct Zoom link; she apologized, said work emergency had come up w/ VP & would reschedule post-holiday. Should I follow-up this morning or wait?

Just switched firms, in hopes of greener pastures....and I’m miserable. Not totally sure where to head next, debating some non-traditional means of employment/next steps. I def can spin the story but am I risking my whole career if I say, took less ‘prestigious’ role for the next year? I’m having a really hard time finding what a reasonable range would be. Most positions I’m applying to require desired salary in the application, and the truth is I’d accept anything north of 125k but don’t want to undersell myself and take a bigger cut than necessary coming from biglaw.
