Morning all. I am looking for a favour/solid advice. I've been in the interview process for a dream role over the past month or so and just found out I didn't get the job after final round 🙃.

Unfortunately this isn't the first time this has happened during the past year searching. Looking for a SC level role within healthcare/public sector consulting firm. I know the job scene is a bit miserable currently but if anyone in the bowl is aware of a role I would love to have a chat.

Iam 5 month pregnant , thinking to get release from project due to health issue and taking maternity leave from april 1st, at this situation can I be in bench for 3 months and go in maternity leave ? Will this affect my job in Accenture? Will the organization allow to be in bench for 3 months? If iam in bench during maternity leave will i get variable pay

Graduating Ph.D. program 2021, received offer from tiny boutique for 140TC+random small boutique benefits. Would be better commute, non metro area closer to home. Waiting to hear back from well known life science boutique (think ZS, Clearview, Putnam). Offer would be for NYC office, would likely relocate.

If offer is given, a) at what $ is this worth and b) is brand everything for first firm out of school?

Also would the life science boutiques reasonably pay more than that?

I am trying to elevate my knowledge and skillsets in healthcare operations. Outside of learning and understanding insurance. What are other skillsets I need to master? What excel equations should I know that are basic and a couple that are more complex yet of course useful in understanding productivity, identifying waste, whatIf analysis, etc.?

I'm new to all this. Is it best to save 10% of my salary all in my company's 401k (with 20% match, increasing by 5% every year)... or saving 5% in 401k and 5% in a Roth IRA?

Looking for some advice as I am considering relocating to US. How difficult is for HR professionals to get a work visa? I think from what I read I qualify under eb3 (no master yet) or h1b. My company blames my generation for not being able to hire everyday. “You guys don’t want to work” coming from some overweight, racist, old coaster. I’ve barely taken any days off this year and pick up “skeleton crew” days any chance I get. I was able to work out a deal with my company before I came because of prior experience luckily, but they offer a terrible base salary and sham of a commission structure to new hires + no remote. Hi all! I work at a nonprofit and am looking to leave the organization. As I browse available positions in my area, I’m realizing there is a LOT of crossover between my current org and others, for example shared board members, folks who are on our board and employed at one of the institutions I’m interested in, etc..
