What steps should I take to become a product management/project manager in tech?

I just joined FDD for a few months as a senior and I was wondering how to network with the Partners/MD if I don’t have any project to work on at this stage? Even tho during the time I was on the project, I only reported to the managers, thus I have no visibility to the partners/MD. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

One of my client is the greater Philadelphia area is looking to fill two roles: 1. Senior Manager Category Management, 8+ YoE
2. Procurement analyst 2-4 YoE.

Which do you prefer?

“Give me a deadline and I’ll get the work done”
or

“when I get this done I’ll let you know and we can figure out when the client will see it.”

I wanted to leverage the hive mind in finding out how best to negotiate a verbal offer for a 100%-remote Product Manager role in NYC, with a IT infrastructure/digital services firm (MNC but non-American):

Base salary: 120k

Sign-on bonus:10k

Bonus: 15%

No stock options

How competitive is this, and what should I negotiate for please? The written offer comes after verbal agreement.

I've 10 YOE in tech project management; 7 in product management.

I'm getting a MAcc to career change to forensic accounting. What opportunities are available to me with a data analytics heavy MAcc? I'm also tacking on 2 graduate certificates in Applied Statistics and International Economic Policy? For those in the field, would that be useful or not useful (i.e. waste of time)? I'm interested in investigations but also analytics, financial modeling, and expert witness services. Throw in salary potential for bonus points. I'll be getting my CPA, CFE, and CAMS.

Wondering for anyone who got their CFF (Ceritified Financial Forensics) designation. Was it difficult? How long does it take to study for using the review course? Is the exam mainly multiple choice or short answer and how difficult? Any guidance or tips would help please. I already have my CFE but just want to know if CFF is worth it

I have attended an interview last week which had both Technical and Manager Round. The next day, I got mail from a HR to upload the documents in iBegin portal and then the documents were 'Verified' later. Even after 4 days the status in iBegin portal still says as "Candidate registered against job". I am not getting any response from the HR about the current status.

Does this mean that I am rejected? I am confident that I have performed well in the interview.
