Please evaluate this initial offer for Apple ICT3. I think I was low balled, but I want to take more opinions. Currently Sr. MTS at VMware, received Apple ICT3. I was expecting to get to ICT4 but seems like team thinks upper end of ICT3 is more apt. Also, I think it is because I don’t have any counter offers yet.

Hi,
I'm currently having an offer from BlueOptima and Cohesity and am conflicted between the two.
I have offers in the SDET profile.
Cohesity Inc is providing me MTS and @BlueOptima is providing SDET-1.
Glassdoor reviews more of less place the two companies almost equally, and the package being offered by the two is almost in the same range.
My preferences include:
Learning opportunities in the role.
Company's work environment.
Company's growth prospects, are also a consideration.

Facebook
Whenever a title has “strategy and” you can’t turn that down
Facebook.
McKinsey for the experience and then leave after a few years if you’re not liking it. Your skill set will grow much faster when you’re advising multiple companies vs just one
Depends on tenure. Assuming you’re a pre-MBA, I’d say FB. That specific role is something that third year pre-MBA folks at MBB would leave for, if they’re lucky enough to land it. If you are thinking executive roles longer term, then MBB and business school may have an edge, but it’s really up to you. If you’re post-MBA and I’m right on the title progression at MBB, I would say McKinsey then FB.
But it’s a wash. You can’t go wrong either way and there is no clear path to/from either option. Great opps and network regardless.
I work at Facebook. You have freedom do what you want but even at the most junior levels it means there’s no structure or consolidated prioritization of work which can be frustrating. If you need structure, go McKinsey. If you don’t, fb
Facebook. MBB can happen later
Go industry first, then join consulting..
Also consider location. Silicon Valley is kind of lame. What office is McK?
Great job!! How did you land both offers? Any secrets to share :)? What are they offering you at McKinsey? I’m interviewing for experienced hire with McK. If there isn’t much of a difference in pay, I’d say Facebook. You can go with McK later
What does the comp look like for both? Congrats on your success :)
I vote McK for a year to get on resume and then go to Facebook.
Like all other posters, I’m inclined to say that taking Facebook is a no brainer.
However, there are some instances where McKinsey may make more sense
1) You love to travel - a lot!
2) You don’t like getting deep into understanding technology
3) You want to one day be CEO of a non-tech F500 company
McK, fb is overhyped and you won’t get as much as a basic skill bootcamp as at McK.
Is this a real question ... FB of course
OP Are you at L7? Strat or MC?
FB
Facebook...
Yeah OP... Facebook pedigree will get you further. What's your area of specialization?
What level are you currently? MBA or non?
