Round 1: HR round. cleared.

Round 2: Hiring manager round. Went well.

After 2 weeks they said Role no longer available. It was L5 supply chain role. This happened in April. Can I apply again in Amazon? I joined a company 3 months ago, does it look bad in CV to leave again in 3 months? I hv a 6 month gap in career in 2019 due to lay off (covid). total exp 9 yrs. SCM exp 6 yrs.

I interviewed for a role with the Enterprise Risk Team at EY. I told them my salary requirements were $105 k before the interview. They said it should be ok if I'm brought in as a Senior 1. After the interview, they said they want to bring me in as a Staff2 at $84k with $3k signing bonus. I'm trying to get on a call to negotiate further...do these numbers sound right to you all?

I have 5 years of experience working as a data analyst and i have always felt its not what i want to do in my life. Finally took the step to learn ux design and build a portfolio and i love it. Now i am thinking how to put my resume together and find job. What should I mention in my resume? Does my data consultancy work count? and what kind of companies and roles should i approach?

Why do companies do this? I interviewed with a company. They loved my work and told me that I’m going to start the following week. They made me sign all of the onboarding papers and poof ghosted me! 🤦‍♀️ I feel so down right now! And I feel like I won’t be able to ever land a job!

Last week team dynamics took a turn for the worst (even tho in each retro the team always commend each other, you would think team work is great). Team members get agitated with each other for being slow. I’m currently comparing against account billable/number of accounts, however, there are still discrepancies. I layer on time tracking, but smaller billable accounts will sometimes be just as demanding as larger billable accounts which create profitability issues.

If you are on a billable project but happen to have a day we’re you aren’t asked to do much, do you still bill the 8 hours for being on call. Or do you only bill the 1–2 hours you work that day on client work? Less than 1 YOE. Curious on your thoughts on billing 8 hours a day even if you don’t necessarily work the whole time. Is this something you have done? I also under stand that billing less than what you work is not ideal, “eating hours.” But what about billing more than you “actually” work
