Tech Referrals: I just completed my last course for my MBA in Supply Chain Management and have been trying to get into a Tech industry for months now. I was wondering how the referral process works. I have received referrals from both Google and Facebook (Meta) but nothing came from either. Are there any tips and tricks?

Made a career pivot to another agency. During the interview we talked about how it may start as initially a "step backwards" (pay/benefits) but has potential for more long term growth. First day was yesterday. Had no communication about when or where to show up, sat in an empty office for about half an hour before a couple people finally showed. No phone call or email.
