The idea of video resumes makes me wanna throw myself into the ocean.

I recently had an interview with HCL and cleared 2 rounds of technical interview. I waited for a week for HR call but no such call was received. I then contacted the POC who scheduled the interview (he is an HCL employee) and he said that I have been shortlisted and will receive HR call shortly. This was 1 week ago and I have still not received any call. Has anyone else faced the same issue? And if yes, should I even expect a call fro HR?

Have an interview with a company I really want to work for tomorrow. My last job I was laid off b/c of an acquisition&recently accepted a job at a diff company b/c I couldnt afford not to. All I want from an Account person is some kind of acknowledgement that what you’re asking me to do sucks. What would be GREAT is if you said “I tried to make it suck less. I told them _____, but they said ____.” Then we’d know you tried. But failing that, just “Hey sorry, this is lame, but they want ____.” We just want to feel like you’re on our side.
