Hi I’m a current Graduate student, hoping to get my foot in the door for Deloitte Healthcare Consulting, Accenture CDP, or EY specifically within Chicago Offices. Is there anyone open to connecting and speaking on their experience being hired? I have previous experience working prior to my degree so hoping to get insight on how I can best score an interview. If you’re also open to providing a referral that would be a bonus!

To extend an opportunity fam. Congrats! Don’t let the partner level intimidate you. Be prepared to negotiate an offer. Know what you’re worth and go in prepared. ask for an aspirational target. If you don’t ask, you will never receive. Feel empowered 💪🏻. Know what your best alternative is and what your reservation point is at which you will not accept employment.
No way they waste the partner's time for a rejection. At best rejections get HR I would think. More often than not you just don't hear back
Or to offer you the job
Or to continue with another interview
???
Partners don’t do rejections.
Yeah. They can reject you with silence, or a with a standardized email, if they want to be emphatic about it.
It’s most likely to make you the offer or to indicate one will be coming your way. They will probably ask what your interest is in the role and your thoughts on acceptance assuming the details of the offer are acceptable. They may or may not communicate the numbers. In either scenario, know your target and be ready to ask for it if numbers are discussed. I have never been asked to deliver a rejection message as part of recruitment, but if it does not work out I do get asked to deliver the rejection message as part of yearly assessments.
My last meeting during the interview process was with the partner! He offered me a position and told me the salary.
