Anyone who has recently resigned from ibm? When you initiare a separation process from workday, it goes to manager for approval. I asked HR and there is a due date mentioned on that process. The applicant tracking system reposts the jobs until the job is closed. This is not something done manually.

I can help explain. Two options here: 1. They have someone they're in the process of hiring maybe temp to perm, maybe a promotion internally; the job needs to be listed so the applicant can apply to it as a legal step (this is real). Or 2. They are looking to fill this role in the future, not ready to hire yet, but they may be staffing up for a big client win - or not - and gathering appropriate resumes ahead of time; this way they're ready to staff quickly IF/WHEN the time comes.
