Hi all, I have a question regarding retirement accounts. I am not sure if I should choose a Roth or 401k (company has 4+2% match). Currently 23, base salary is ~100k and investments have brought 45k this year which has me teetering between a 22-24% tax bracket. Wondering what the usual tax bracket is of people retired (around 65yo) as I’m not sure anything would bring in significant income with the exception of investments. Gift giving help: every year around this time my husband brings up his Jan bday and basically demands I spend a lot of $ on him. I find this stressful. I don’t do big lavish gifts but each year I feel pressure to or he won’t be happy. When I say this he immediately launches into “haven’t I done this for you, bought that for you”. “If you loved me you would”. His entitlement and manipulation make me feel super resentful and removes the fun of celebrating him. FWIW we earn the same. What to do?
