Hey All!
I have a phone interview for a data scientist role at snowflake comming up. Any advice on how to prep?
The email indicates that the call will cover my experience, motivations, and understanding of Snowflake.
Curious if other have gone through the process and have insights to share. Or if anyone at snowflake can shed light on how I can be effective.

Dear Amdocs Hiring Team, Thanks for the worst experience. You guys took almost 2 months for hiring process, asked for all the documents, even shared the CTC breakup over email and at last after multiple follow ups over calls and emails, you replied by stating that "Unfortunately , we are not moving ahead with your candidature at moment." When I asked the reason, you are clueless till now what to say? You guys even don't have enough courage to respond my calls. #Amdocs #Hiring

I will. You’re awesome, thank you!
I love this thread.
Update: recruiter emails, “team finally confirmed, you’re all set!”
Translation: I forgot to contact you, and there’s no way in hell I’ll admit it.
I told you ACD 1 was too good for the ghost agency.
Can we get an update on this one? 👀
@CR 1- well, I had the interview so I guess that’s half the battle 😉 now it becomes a question of will the ghost or not .
🙈
Yes, that would be nuts. Definitely email her again and call if you have her number. If you don’t have her direct line, call the agency number and ask for her. I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this. Wish I could be of more help to you!
Thanks! I’ll reach out both by email and phone. It sucks when a team may be great but their gatekeeper...not so much.
agency recruiters ghost everyone all the time. and change agencies a lot so the creepiness spreads to multiple agencies making the whole town feel gross. imho
@ cw 1 - you’re so right
Send obvious, but make sure you check your junk folder. I almost missed an interview because a recruiter's email was lost there.
@CR 1 - good call. I checked and nothing :)
Definitely follow up. I had a recruiter schedule an interview with five CDs and forget to tell me. I was rescheduled the next week, but found out from the last CD I interviewed with that she told them I cancelled at the last minute the week before. Not true! Can’t help but think that hurt me in the process. It was a dream job, which I didn’t get (was ghosted by all after the interview). Can’t help but think my “cancelling” contributed to me being passed on. It’s been six years and I still hurt from missing out on that opportunity
CW2: that’s awful, and I’m so sorry that happened to you. Ugh.
OP: If this isn’t your first round, do you have the emails to anyone you interviewed with previously? If so, you should reach out to them. This sucks, and it’s exactly why so many people hate recruiters
@recruiter 1 - you’re restoring my faith in recruiters so thank you.
R1 should be giving training courses. But i think we discussed this before ;)
ACD1: Aw shucks!
@Recruiter 1- can I come work with you?
If I hadn’t followed up and nailed down the time today, who knows what would’ve happened.
Since I Project Managed my interview then maybe I can Project Manage a salary increase, extra vacation days and a sailboat from that agency.
You’re obviously great at your job and a good person, so you’re keeping the recruiter hope alive!
@Recruiter 1 - I’m sorry that happened to you. Since I’ve been on FB, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the support and kindness of some ppl here, yourself included.
Then there are times where the first person to reply to a sincere question is an insecure douchebag who wants nothing more than to tear other ppl down.
I like to focus on the good folks here, and I hope you continue to provide your opinion because you may be helping someone who truly needs it.
Ha! saw that, R1. Just someone deflecting from their ‘dumb questions.’ Don’t even bother.
@ACD 1- the limbo is the worst. ghosting is unprofessional and weak, so if we get ghosted, we’re better off not working at these places. That stance doesn’t pay the bills but it’s something. Keep me posted, fingers crossed for you!
