This is a first for me. We signed a new client (flower shop in BK) and they are easily the most confused brand owners I've seen in my life. The copy team met with them this morning, and we asked what their brand voice is, and they said, "That's why we hired you, we want you to create one". Although that's wild, I understand that some people just need the help, but how can you not have a single idea of what your brand stands for and what kind of people you want to see as your customers? Is this fairly common? Cuz I'm blown away.

I keep starting huge projects or hobbies and being intensely into it for about 10 days/2 weeks, after which I forget about it and the project just lays around my house for months until I get interested in it again or I toss it out/donate it. It was fine when I was living alone but my partner is seriously frustrated with how messy the house gets and how much I spend on supplies for these things. Well I worked and got appreciated by the client , always exceeded expectations on clients side (have thank you's and appreciation on mail) . My rating is 3 stating "aapko ek hi saal hua h". Feel like audit scheduling is always done on a knifes edge in that the timeline and staff schedules are enough so that if everyone works 60 hour weeks and no issues are identified then it can be filed on time. But even small things that increase the work can wildly throw off the schedule and cause hours to skyrocket for the staff on the job. No real point here, just ranting.

I’m a firm believer that a manager should develop a positive relationship with employees, but I don’t want that to be an invitation to disrespect my authority. How do you know where to draw the line to make this distinction clear?
