This new CPA score release is killing me 😭 so if I take FAR in January, I won’t know my score until June?

I have my Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration along with 13 years of experience in healthcare. My experience ranges from medical coding, biller/AR specialist, patient financial advocate, and since 2019 my role is in the Quality department as a health care data analyst.

Any other postdocs dealing with the crippling anxiety of disappointing all your mentors/supporters in science by leaving academia? I know it’s my life but….

I was a Manager at a Big4 doing PM fed work earlier this year. I decided to join a small firm to pursue cloud sales. However, the position is extremely technical in nature and I'm required to speak tech ( kubernetes, openshift, CICD) to potential clients.
While I have learned from the exposure, I dont intend to continue in a tech role & looking to exit. I'm thinking of Customer/ Partner Success Manager roles with one of the CSPs. Are there other non tech cloud exit opps in industry to consider?

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. Does anyone have the 2020 SHRM books for sale or to borrow? My job won’t contribute towards my certification. I’ve already paid for my test. I have the books from 2015 but I’d like to study from the 2020. I tried finding them online to purchase but sellers of affordable books aren’t responding.

I am looking to make a career change to HR. I currently make 75K as a sales and development coach. I had a recent offer for a state government position in a talent acquisition role but I’d be taking a $25K pay cut. I am extremely over qualified for the position but it could possibly be a stepping stone and gives me the time to acquire SHRM certifications and possibly start taking classes to get my MBA. For me the hardest part of cpa, that i am used to having a study buddy (i can study for hours and yet i wont lose focus) and i hate studying alone (i get easily distracted)

Taking my REG retake in one week. Got a 71 the last time. I purchased ninja and was planning on drilling MCQ, sims, and reading ninja notes for the next week. Do you guys think this will be sufficient?

Are you aware of the CPA exam credit extension to 2021 for NY CPA candidates impacted by COVID19? It’s on a person-by-person basis and you need to request the extension. Has anyone tried doing this yet? Can anyone shine more light on this? The extension would really help me, but I’m not sure what more to tell them in my email than the fact that I couldn’t sit for the exams this Spring/Summer due to test centers closing in NYC.
