It’s fine for learning and some networking, but you shouldn’t expect the same results as a full time MBA. So potentially faster at current company, and maybe long term, but will be hard to switch careers.
Depends a lot on the MBA. I am in Tepper’s mba and I have seen a lot of folks change their career. I have also seen people change to the full time program to recruit and network. A few of them have landed MBB offers. It can be worth it but there is an extreme element of self selection into it. You get as much as you participate.
