I just realized I’ll likely have a MAGI of over $124,000 this year and will have to reduce the amount I contribute to my Roth IRA. I don’t know exactly by how much and I’ve already contributed about $1,900 directly through my Roth IRA. Does anyone know if I can still do a backdoor Roth IRA for the remainder of the $6,000? I got laid off 2 weeks ago and at the time was seeing projections online that the fed govt pmts would only cover about 25 million ppl (not sure how accurate that is).

Who do you miss most and why?

So I say this with complete humility and an understanding that this is a fortunate-ish situation to be in. I’m in a position where I am tied to nothing, I have no children, spouse, or house. My job, which I’ve loved until some recent significant leadership changes, is sucking the life out of me and I think it may be time for a change. Because I am able to “pick up and go” I’m open to opportunities and locations. I’ve never worked with a recruiter but was hoping I could get some recommendations!
