Been on the job hunt for the past 3 months. Applied to 200+. Interviewed with 15 companies (big tech + mid sized) but failing at either hiring manager round or ghosted after onsite. I’ve spent hours everyday applying, researching companies and prepping for interviews, watching videos, reading books, but just can’t seem to close the deal. Feeling so stuck, anxious and frustrated all the time.

I am still awaiting offer from Capgemini as I have cleared interviews and completed documentation there too.

I expect to be asked at some point, but my research has given me a VERY broad range. So I’m here to do a bit more research. Which Big Law firms in San Francisco/Bay Area have good L&E groups? Good as in legitimate group and not some group that claims to do the work but really just writes blog posts and answers some advice and counsel questions. Amongst those, any intel on culture, WLB, etc.?

Once when I was waiting tables, I had a guy pay me cash. The change was 45 cents, which I didn't give back to him because like who wants that. He then asked where the change was, and when I explained that I didn't give back the loose change, he made a big stink about how dollars and cents matter and didn't leave me a tip. He was a republican staffer on capitol hill.

I really think that some large holding companies are ever gonna force us back into the office. My ECD is based on the east coast. All three of the ACD/CD teams they hired in the past six months are east coast based. Our office is in the central time zone. Yet every job posting says “in person”. Seems like they just don’t want to advertise their hiring remote for the attractive accounts.
