I have recently got selected in tcs and I have 10.5 years of experience with 25 LPA. Now for salary negotiation hr is asking me to go with ur current pkg otherwise it will be dropped bcoz it's already very high pkg for them. What should I do if I have an offer of 29 LPA from other company? Tata Consultancy@

I read this article earlier this summer and went with the TravelPro. I really like it. Saw Delta FAs not letting people board until they removed their batteries on the Away the last few weeks, so that also leads me to say no to that. I got my TravelPro on amazon pretty reasonably priced

@SC1, send them an email at help(at)awaytravel(dot)com !
Thanks BA1, trying to keep the price a bit lower
I have the TravelPro Maxlite 4 and got my SO the Away bigger carry on. The handle on the TravelPro is much sturdier and the wheels are really nimble so I can get through the airport really fast. The Away definitely looks nicer and fits her style. It also fits a bit more than the TravelPro. You can always travel without the battery or get a bag without it
I have the away carry on. Great for the regular 4 day trip and customer service is incredible. I highly recommend it!
Recently switched from TravelPro to Away Carry On and loving it! TravelPro served me well for years, just got a bit too beat up. Echo the earlier comment about Away’s customer service, they were great about helping me switch out models when they released the new option without the battery
I have the bigger carry on from away and haven't had any issues in the overhead bins. Also, if you have to remove the battery it literally takes 2 seconds so it's not a big hassle. I like my away bag

Plus with a travelpro people will ask you if you’re actually crew so you get respect :)
Does the “bigger” carryon fit well on flights or would you recommend the smaller option?
P2, can you tell me more about switching out models? I've got the Bigger Carry-On now with the battery but would much rather have it without the battery - they only had the version with the battery when I purchased it
SC1 why the preference to have the version without the battery?
I have an external battery that I carry in my backpack. Oftentimes the times when I need a charge and a plug isn't near are those times when I don't have my luggage handy (eg, on a flight).
In the 6 months I've had that carry on I haven't used that battery once
I thought the battery was removable, no?
It is, but I've already got a better battery. The shell that holds the battery is just taking up space in my suitcase - even when the battery is removed it still takes up that space
Not too big a deal - annoying but still happy with the suitcase
