Has anyone ever had a teammate/friend fired for alleged sexual harassment?…..I did recently and it’s messing with my head and I cannot stop thinking about it. I don’t know many details which makes it harder because I don’t know the severity etc. It sounds like it was a he said she said but he still ended up fired.

New to managing someone: she promised to send in slides eod Friday for review over the weekend, so far nothing. Do I email to remind? Offer help? She also sent in something else that we agreed was lower priority.

How do I deal with this? I've never been a yes person and I don't preach this to my reports. I don't know what to do. Help?

I’m a new analyst at a PE firm, and my associate keeps blaming me for things she does wrong. Like she will tell me I made the wrong change, even though she is the one who changed it. Or in calls with other people, she won’t take responsibility for things that she told me to do that the other person calls out as wrong. I was working at a Hotel one night & I saw a man appearing on two different floors, then in the stairwell. The man was in his 70’s or 80’s. He was wearing nothing but tidy whiteys. When he got to the front desk I asked “is everything alright? Are you okay?” (Assuming he may be senile),He wasn’t senile, he went swimming & wanted to make me uncomfortable and started to flirt while in his sopping wet see through tidy whiteys- and of course I had to clean up the water he tracked through the lobby.

Our Digital marketing team is very small: Myself and the Digital Manager. Mine is to meditate, pop a klonopin, and write in a journal. This 30 minute routine quiets the mind and removes distractions.

In Iowa, there is no Overtime pay mandate, the overtime pay is at the discretion of the business. I received 58.6 hours of base pay for the week.

If the company makes less than $1 million per year or does not engage in intercontinental sales, the company is not required to pay the overtime rate of time and a half, just your base rate.
