Unrelated to work, but what's the expectation on getting your realtor a gift after buying your first home? What would be some examples on what to give them other than a nice handwritten card?

Isn’t the commission the gift?!

likesmart

You’re paying the commission indirectly. The asking price of the home takes into account agent fees for both the seller and buyers side. You’re essentially giving the money to the seller when you purchase the home to give to your agent 🤣

REALTORS ARE THE BIGGEST RIP OFF. THEY ARE EXTREMELY OVER PAID. I CANT WAIT FOR TECHNOLOGY TO TAKE KVER AND SAVE THE HOMEOWNER 7% !!!!!!!!!!!

lol bro are you kidding, the MLS is a gold mine. In the DC area, over the last year, a lot of listings never make it to any third party site.
